Chopsticks are not sophisticated.

They do not take an enormous amount of skill to use and they interfere with the dining experience by forcing chefs to make food sticky or into lumps and strips.

I learned how to use chopsticks. they are useful when you can't find a fork. Also, you can use two sticks with the same skills, to pick up disgusting objects.
