Chopsticks are not sophisticated.

They do not take an enormous amount of skill to use and they interfere with the dining experience by forcing chefs to make food sticky or into lumps and strips.

It's still hella funny to watch in experienced people using them.

And chopsticks are used for certain foods. I eat my rice with chopsticks, I don't eat my roast chicken with them.
