red 40/yellow 5 info would be nice, FDA claims yellow 5 only causes allergic reaction(fatal?) in 0.01% of users.
Aspartame is part of US/Japan aspartame/stevia war... aspartame is safe unless you're an american fat hamburger(lav-chan?) who consumes enormous quantities of diet soda every year...

Shove it up your ass, it gets stuck, you cant shit anymore or get it out. Your scared to go to the doctor because your very embarassed, your belly gets backed up with shit and you die.
I'm allergic to cat hair. Guess I'd better stay out of Korean restaurants.

Cyclamate isn't in anything anymore, at least in the US; the FDA banned it well over 30 years ago. You still see saccharin in things that need to be heat-stable (like medicines and fountain syrup), but it's already been replaced in some cases with ace-k or Splenda.
As for aspartame toxicity, most of the fervor about it comes from people who are either convinced it's the worst thing since dioxin, would like you to buy their stevia leaves, or are pushing macrobiotic diets that don't have many sweets of any kind in them. Some people are sensitive to it (it's amino acid-based and causes MSG-like reactions in some cases, and people with phenylketonuria should stay away in any case), but unless you're eating whole boxes of Equal every day, it's not a big deal (and the methanol thing is a red herring; you'd have to drink Sterno or washer fluid to get the ill effects they like to scream about. Diet cola has about as much methanol in it as fruit juice does.)
That said, aspartame doesn't actually taste very good unless you use a lot of it, and IME ace-k and Splenda work much better.

With people who are allergic to peanuts, simply eating food that was made with machinery processing peanuts can die from an allergic reaction. Alot of snack foods have warnings on the label saying that it was made with machinery that's near peanuts. Must be scary eating this food knowing that you could end up in the hospital any minute.

Salads will kill you if you eat too much of it (ruffage causes stomach cancer). Ginger is a dangerous diuretic in large doses. Everyone should stop pretending that food is ACTUALLY dangerous. The danger lies in being an idiot and eating nothing but one type of food all your life. OF COURSE these things can kill you in large doses!
And I think that I'm alergic to aspartame myself. Kind of heartening to know that me getting sick whenever I drink it isn't psychosematic. Strange thing though, I friggen love MSG in almost all meaty foods.

Too much water will kill you.
Still, there are some things I would like to avoid consuming

It would be more harmful for you to avoid fats and oils entirely than to overconsume (within reason mind you, eating a tub of lard is a bad idea no matter which way you look at it).
Same with sugars, meat, whatever. Only problem is that in times immemorial, those were the harder foods to attain, so we're adjusted to seek them out more than vegetables. We were in an almost constant lack of protein, fats oils, what have you. That's why they taste so good, they're concentrated sources of energy.
But energy is not in short supply anymore.

But with people who are allergic to peanuts, just eating peanut residue could put someone into shock which leads to death in sometimes just minutes. It doesn't really take a whole lot to trigger those types of allergic reactions.

I'm talking about people who avoid foods when they aren't dangerous just because some idiotic person cites a study which shows you shouldn't eat something.

Aspartame in america tends to not be highlighted anymore. The Suspected terror of Aspartame is a Brain Tumor, I've noticed how just about every gum has the stuff now.
I really don't like the stuff, everything that has Aspartame tends to have a weird sensation. ie;Cold, Hot, numb, etc... Makes my tongue feel strange, and I sometimes get dull headaches...I really like gum too >_<

Saccharin will not kill you. Those studies saying that it was shown to cause cancer were proven bunk. It was also shown, following the same protocol, that saline causes cancer.

One resource (http://www.juliansimon.com/writings/Ultimate_Resource/TCHAR18.txt) quotes:
"1970s: Saccharin causing bladder cancer. Exonerated in 1990s. But warning still required on containers."
But this of course only refers to studies showing that Saccharin is not dangerous to humans.
