Debian vs Ubuntu

I have some history with ubuntu, not much, tho. Thought I like to get into them more. So, share your guidance please, wise /comp/

Ubuntu = Packages ripped from Debian Unstable, then released a month later as UBANTO <year>.<month>.

Also Debian has no Unity. Thank fucking God.
