I NEED HELP!!! PLEASE!!!

So everytime I try to connect to Firefox or IE the window says "cannot connect" but I know I am connected to the internet, I have check my cable connection and ping websites from the command prompt and there is no problem. I ran the network diagnostic thing and it tells me that "dnsserversearchorder failure"... How do I fix this!!!!!

Have you tried to reboot or something like that? and try control+shift+esc and close some weird/strange background tasks
