Computer problem?

Name: Anonymous 2011-03-16 21:52

Hello there, I am here seeking your help.

I have 2 desktops, both seem to have the same problem despite them being different models/brands.

Problem:
No screen image, despite fans spinning and what it seems a working HDD. NOTICE: When i removed the RAM there were no "BEEPS" from the motherboard indicating they were out.

Things I have tried so far that haven't worked:
-Replace video card
-Replace RAM
-Unplug everything except necessary components for the Computer to start (RAM, PSU)
-Air blow it thoroughly.

I am running out of ideas, also the HDD's work fine I tried them on other computers.

I am running out of ideas any suggestions would be appreciated.

If it's an older system and u actually have to plug in the pc speaker to hear the beep - make sure that's plugged in correctly, if not (previously beeped) - and it doesn't scream when u take the memory out - then it's the motherboard.

not ur external speakers, but there should be either a speaker inside the system itself that needs to be plugged into a jumper on the mobo (similar to power / reset / herp ) or you'll see on on-board speaker on the system, about the size of a dime, black, circle w/ a smaller circle in it

( o )

already on the mobo. but if it previously beeped when starting, and now it doesn't do shit - then it's the mobo

if it's never beeped, then ya, speaker not plugged in.
