Laptop, odd smell

I got a problem about my laptop. Recently, it's been giving off a smell like some kind of burning plastic of some sort. I did what most suggested using compressed air can to blow off dust and what not but it's still giving off that annoying smell. Is this smell I shouldn't worried much about or should I be worried about it after all?

Overheating, or some shortcircuit. Take the fans and apply some grease to them. And of couse clean the moterfucker from dust.
