It'll be used for reading email, watching youtubes, and possibly in the future it'll be used to watch movies on a hdtv (assuming she gets one). Of course, she wants to have windows 7.
Should I allow her to buy a HP computer at best buy or should I build one for her? She seems leery at the prospect of me doing it because she thinks she needs a 2 year warranty in case it explodes or something. What do?
i think it would be cheaper if you build it yourself, as for warranty... i dont know if you can get extended warranty on each part, also if it "explodes" having built it yourself, you can just replace whatever part. just my opinion.
