PC trouble

I recently replaced my motherboard after my old one fried, but when i start it recommends that i start windows repair, i do so, but after about 15-20 mins it says that it cannot repair and then shuts down, any help would be appreciated

have you tried formatting?

get a linux live cd or connect your hdd to another machine so you can save your files and documents then format and do a fresh install.
