I lost my files :( HALP

Hi guise, I accidentally overwritten my data partition for windows 7's use. This partition has all my work files, documents and project source files... Now its all gone.. I've done recovery before and I'm pretty much fucked up on this--Windows7 at deducting 100 MB at the data partition to use for its system and writing up significant windows7 files for the affected partition.

I'm fucked /comp/, please help.

Well, first of all, did windows 7 installation actually reformat your partition or just unlink ("delete") it?  If it's the former I'd give up, remember this lesson, and do frequent backups in the future.  Otherwise there are several "undelete" programs available *for free* but since I've never had to use one I can't recommend any particularly.  Bonne chance!

If it was important you would have had at least two copies.
