I am using a USB headset (Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 to be exact) and I want to record the microphone and wave-out simultaneously. The problem here is that recording wave-out by any means while using the headset as my output device seems to be impossible.
Anyone know how I can solve this? I'm tried every configuration possible in my system settings and the software that I use to record sound (both Audacity and GoldWave), and I can record my mic just fine but it seems to be impossible to record wave-out no matter what settings I use. It just won't recognize any form of wave-out/stereo-mix/whatever that would correspond to what I can hear in my headphones.
