I had left my laptop at my home while on a business trip, and I came back to find my kids had been using it and upon start-up I was notified that I had a trojan in it and it shut down. Every time I turn on the computer, it boots for about 3 seconds and then shuts down.
Can you help me?
In return, demonoid invite

I have the same problem with a pretty old one (it's something like 800 MHz), but due to massive Sony hardware failure. My brother has also gone through several Vaio notebooks. It won't help get your important files, but I've found using the factory restore disk gives it some more life.
Every piece of Sony hardware I've ever bought, from Handycams to Playstations, has broken in some way under normal use. Protip: Sony was only great in the 80's and 90's.
I have a Sony Vaio PCG-FRV25.
2.7Ghz mono-core
480 Mb RAM
I like it, but as far as what you've got. I'd suggest building a shit tower out of old parts laying around, I know you do. :P
Find or buy an adapter from the laptop's hardrive to the desktop's IED cables.
Install some form of Windows(uTorrent it) on the desktop, I prefer XP, good under shit conditions. Run some form of an antivirus. I prefer to run Avast and CCleaner. It should work, if not. Reinstall Windows. :D

here: http://www.ubcd4win.com/ download it and make yourself a cd then pop it in the laptop and load it instead of windows, you'll be able to see and save your important files, then restore your system. if you are gonna save your files onto a pendrive or an external hdd then make sure they are pluged to the laptop before ubcd4win starts so it will recognize them.
use imgburn to burn the iso to a cd, its free and easy as hell to use http://www.imgburn.com/
