Headphone Jack

There is a little washer that came off when I pulled my headphones out perhaps too abrubtly, now I can't listen to music because I can't stand the low quality laptop speakers. Is there a way of converting the hole where u plug in the microphone into a headphone hole? (is this hole called a jack? or is the jack the 'male' part?)

I have a warrantee but I lost the receipt so I don't think I can claim it.

I have the exact same problem as OP.  I am about to buy some USB headphones tomorrow 'cause I can't stand using speakers.

Also, somebody explain Bluetooth headphones to me pls.

OP here -- I have a new problem:

It turns out I could still use the headphone jack, although I had to fiddle around until I got sound. Then today i walked into the wire by mistake and instead of coming out, the male part of the jack broke in two, leaving the front half inside the jack. Its stuck now and I don't know how to get it out. I was thinking maybe use a magnet but would that fuck up the electronics of my computer?

That was such a bad game.  The SNES needs more quality titles.
