I have a problem, and I think it originated with one of the shitty fwdfwdfwd emails my mom sends me. My computer gets a popup every so often saying that Windows Firewall has detected Win32.Zafi.B virus and has a link going to an antivirus program you can buy or trial download to wipe it. I have AVG antivirus on my computer and I used some of the online antivirus tests, and the just found a trojan or two and is still here after the other stuff was treated, Anyone know what it is or how to stop it?

OP here. Found an antivirus to take care of the problem. Thanks for all your help.
My mom sends me those shitty forwards too. I've had anything with Fwd: or Fw: blocked since I got an email address in 5th grade, but Hotmail lets safe contacts take precedence over filters.
What is it with moms and stupid email moves?

Download Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware. You've got yourself an Antivirus 2009 infection, and it's about the only thing that'll get rid of it.
Have fun.

check your most recent log, look for the item present around when you checked your email
