Best programs to recover from a RAID 0.

I had to delete one of the drives from my RAID in order to be able to install Windows. Fortunately the main bulk of the files was sent to another drive, while the one drive that used to be in the RAID was used to save the necessary boot configurations. The problem is I need to get some data off the RAID drive, and while I was able to get a layout, recovering anything usable is next to impossible.

So my question is what programs are recommended for data recovery of a RAID 0? I'm looking for something specifically that can recover data even though part of it has been overwritten.

You know why they call it RAID 0?

Because that's precisely how much data you'll recover in a case like this.

Then why is there programs that offer the ability to attempt to recover data from a stripped volume?

With enough time (looking through it manually) you can get around half the data back.
