getting rid of a virtual optical drive

Name: Anonymous 2009-01-14 3:40

right now my computer is showing three optical drives but only two of them are physical. the third one is virtual but i can't for the life of me figure out what program could be holding it there. is there any way of finding out and/or getting rid of it?

optical drives are read-only by default.  unless you installed the virtual in read-write mode, there's no way you can delete it.

is there a way to find out what program is putting up the virtual drive so i can go in and disable it?

its your Opera browser, it automatically installs a virtual drive
