Media Player and streaming

Just got a new computer, and is almost done setting everything up.

I have this small annoyance with media player when i am playing songs from websites, that it loads the entire song first before it plays.
I used to be able to hear the song while it was loading in media player.

I also had this with my old computer, but a buddy showed me how to alter it. However today he can't remember what it was he did back then.

What media player are you using? You've got to be more specific than "media player".

Mine does the same thing. It always has.

Try changing your buffer settings, not sure if you can do this with music, but say if you are trying to stream a live video, you might have buffer setttings set to like 10mins or something, instead of like 10sec, try right clicking what you are streaming.

Maybe you should let 13 come out before we can go one to 14.
Windows Media Player 12 is still under development.

My Windows Media Player won't play DVDs. It says copyright violation. It order to play DVDs, I have to pay Microsoft for an upgrade. So fuck that. I use a shitty program called Cyberlink PowerDVD that came with my computer instead.
