ip/routing issues

so, i recently had to manually uninstall a trojan of winweb, which was gay, but afterwards i was afraid that it had damaged my registry.
so within a half hour, my computer's (let's call it comp a) internet connection would slowly just crash to zero and then it would state that i had no incoming connection. i couldn't ping my router or my other computer (comp b), and the computer i was trying to fix (a) couldn't be pinged. so... i ran around like a chicken at a nigger convention until i tried simply releasing and renewing the ip. (durr why didn't i do that in the first place). it works now.
i'm just wondering what might have happened. i don't want it to happen again.

Did you actually check your registry after you removed the trojan? If you haven't I'd suggest getting RegCleaner. It's nice little program that will help simplify looking at your registry instead of using regedit.

As for your networking problem I can't think of anything right off the top of my head that would explain that. All I can think is it works now so forget about it. If it comes up in the future stay calm and try to reason your way through it. Running around like the proverbial chicken at a nigger convention never solves anything.
