I've got this older computer, MPC ClientPro 345. The specs are really basic (
Windows XP Professional; 2.6GHz Intel P4; Intel 865G chipset; 256MB DDR SDRAM 400MHz; integrated Intel 865G 64MB (shared memory); Seagate ST340014A 40GB 7,200rpm ), but it seems customizable for me to be able to throw in a new graphics cards and whatnot.

Two things have stopped me though, one being that it needs a low-profile card, and there don't seem to be any real quality low-profile cards. Secondly, I'm asking this because when Diablo III and Starcraft II come out, I'd like to upgrade this machine enough to be able to run those games at low settings, and I don't exactly know what I need to upgrade into to do that.

I'm not good with computers, so I really need some help on this. Thanks.

you will need a new motherboard that can use PCIe or PCie 2.0, which means you will have to go from IDE -> SATA
