Network Connections icons reversed

Name: Anonymous 2008-10-07 4:27

I have a desktop running 32 bit vista, and lately I've started putting it in standby.  When it comes to, however, I have to disable and re-enable the wired ethernet connection to get it to work again.

Now this wasn't a problem for me, I'm not that lazy, but now my network connection icons are reversed.

That is to say, in network connections, when my ethernet connections (this happens on both LANs built into my motherboard, an nforce and a marvell) are disabled, the icon isn't greyed out, and when they're enabled, they ARE greyed out.

This doesn't happen to my wireless connection in the network connections dialog.

What the fuck is going on?

Sage for self-inflicted problems.
