The PIT is the only thing left

From what I can tell, there's only one component of today's PC's that is still present from the original 1980 PC, and that's the 8253 PIT (system timer/speaker beeper).  No ISA, even the PICs are replaced by Intel APICs.  Nothing else is left except this.  Am I correct?
