Head Mounted Displays (HMD)

Does anyone know of a HMD headset to use? I want something I can plug into my laptop/desktop, lay back, and have my own personal theatre/64 inch screen. Any advice? Also what are they like when you put them on? I hope it is none of that you can see through them stick. I want something where all you can see is a giant monitor.
