Problem with SATA hard drive

How do I install a SATA hard drive without installing Windows?
I already have Windows XP on another SATA drive.
When i plug the new drive, I get the error:
"hardware initiate failed. Please check device!
The bios does not be installed."

You need to download and install opera as it has a suitable bios embedded in the program
