I'm looking for a reasonably priced 15.4" laptop for working outside (no games, sorry!). The only requirement is a bright screen so I can actually see what I'm doing. I have no other requirements. There is a power outlet where I'll be working, so battery life does not matter.
Unfortunately, notebook companies refrain from publishing specs on their abominable screens so they don't look that bad; from my experience, there's hardly any laptop qualifying for outdoor use because the screens are SO BLOODY DARK.
So, what do I want?
- 15.4", 1280x800 please
- bright screen
- matte screen
Can you give me some pointers? Reviews where they actually MEASURE brightness would be superb!
