My family likes playing games on my computer because it's pretty much the only one capable of playing anything good. As it is, I only let 'em play when I'm around to make sure they don't go exploring. Is there any way I can severely limit what they have access to so I don't have to babysit them? I want pretty much a blanket "you can't do jack shit except using these shortcuts to games I have installed," so they don't go off and find my pronz.

Help?
Thanks.

easy way: Google "kiosk software" because some of that stuff really limits what users can do

harder way: google "Group policy editor", NTFS access restrictions, software restriction policies etc.

good fun, and it makes you leanr a lot about the OS.

Windows isn't an OS, and its security model is incredibly badly broken.

Windows is the only good OS because you can actually buy software and games for it unlike stupid Linux which you cant even buy in any shops I have been to

I happen to appreciate Microsoft being able to spy on all my data as well as withold access to my data whenever they feel like it. I also appreciate Microsoft being able to control my computer regardless of how I feel about their control.

its only to protect you I highly doubt microsoft would do it to harm anyone or gain any unfair advantage
