QEMU Under Vista

Allright, I'm trying to run QEMU inder windows Vista, and it keeps crashing becasue of vista's FAIL.
So, here are my arguments
qemu.exe -L . -m 256 -boot d -cdrom osx.iso -hda tiger.img -soundhw all -localtime -M pc

Any idea why this doesn't work? It worked under XP, only with less RAM.

there are already lots of games that use directx 10, they dont require it to run of course, but like dual and quad cores we are gradually getting more programs that are using the technology more and more. The fact that directx 10 is still new compared to DX9 is a bit of a hint.
