Wikipedia

I'm getting 404'd whenever I try to access en.wikipedia/wiki.  I can access any of the other languages (and have since resigned to trying to discern the meanings of various articles on de.wikipedia.)  Everyone I talk to says it's not down, Wiki articles show up through google, and I can access www.wikipedia.org, just not en.wikipedia/wiki.  If I go straight to "http://en.wikipedia.org," I get a "placeholder page" telling me there are no webpages there.

The pages don't attempt to load.  It's not timing out, and it's not my browser's regular 404 page. Normally it would say "Problem loading page, cannot find the server at..." but whenever it's this Wikipedia problem, I get "404 - Not Found" and that's it.

I'm running Vista, and Firefox 2.0 is my browser.

Any idea as to what is happening?

I'm not sure I follow.  Isn't that what I wrote?  And I still get 404'd.  Actually, even www.wikipedia.org, which used to load, brings me to that "placeholder" page.

In your explanation you left out the .org/

Of course, it's "of value", dumbass! If you have misspelled it when posting, you likely misspelled it when entering the url. Type the URL again or click on the link in >>2 .
