I just finished downloading a torrent using µTorrent. The torrent is a large file that's divided in a shitload of .rar (rar, r00, r01, etc) files.
Now the problem is that apparently one of those files fucked up during the download, so I can't extract the archive. Is there some way to redownload only that file, so I don't have to restart the entire torrent?

Yes, just open utorrent > right click on the torrent in the list that's messed up > go to "Remove and..." - "Delete .torrent" > Redownload the torrent from the original source > When the "Add New Torrent" window appears, right click in the list of files to download - Deselect all > Check the boxes next to all of the files that were corrupt > Start Downloading.

Thanks, that worked just fine.
I have another question about torrents though:
If there is a torrent and I've already got the files for the torrent (exactly the same), how can I add myself for seeding those files? When I tried I somehow ended up downloading my own files so obviously I suck.

Just let the torrents running after they finish downloading, ie don't stop or delete them. Your client will automatically continue to upload/seed.

No, I don't mean after downloading it. I mean when I have the same files as the torrent, but not FROM that torrent. Is there any way to help seed the existing torrent with those files?

Assuming your not a troll, 'save' the torrent in the location the current files exist, don't start the torrent, use the force recheck files.
