File Manager for Windows

Hay guise,

I realized I desperately need a -preferably free- file manager for Windows that allows adding of comments/notes to files and folders. A slick and simple interface would be nice, but is not a must.

Any suggestions?

Oh right, there's the summary tab under properties, but I'd rather have the comments not saved in the file itself and be able to change them directly from the explorer window.
