ok so my buddy gave me his laptop to try and fix it up. now im good with most things, but this one is really getting to me, i cant figure out what to do.
so, he gave me this laptop, and when i boot it up it says "balance digital technology" (the people who made it), followed by the windows boot screen. it goes to the booty screen, presumably loads windows, then goes black, and instead of starting normaly, it fucking reboots itself and repeats the process.
now, when i shut if off in the middle of this process and turned it off, it gave me the option to boot in safe mode, or safe mode with command prompt and to boot normally. NONE of those options worked. it did the same exact thing.
to make things even worse, he doesnt have the reinstall disc or anything that came with the computer. and i no longer own a copy of partition magic.
