Torrent vs routers

Torrents affect my ISP's routers and causes connection loss, even with port forwarding.  Are there torrent proof routers?

Sometimes, the only solution is to pay for a business service. Business class Internet service usually costs more than normal services but the ISP usually keeps their hands off the service of their business customers. This means you'd probably need to pay more money to get a pretty good torrent service.
