Peer Guardian 2: Tribbles Edition

Peer Guardian two doesn't limit the size of its log file, so it fills up all my hard drive space periodically and I need to manually delete it by going to the folder.

Am I doing it wrong?

PeerGuardian is a shitty excuse for a firewall.

cron + logrotate = love

I personally use Piss Guardian 5: Diapers on the run.

ipchains allows use of peerguardian formatted files, so you can simply use cron and some magic. You really need a firewall in the first place.

Anyway, most people use NAT/port-forwarding so most ports are blocked, just disable uPNP

People have this idea they need to log everything compulsively so they can later go back and check said logs if something goes wrong (but only afterwards, of course), but very nearly none of them have the knowledge required to actually read logs, and those that do know that for the most part, it's pointless anyway.
