EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE IS FUXXORED

Name: Anonymous 2008-01-31 13:10

Product: Freecom External hard drive classic 500GB

Problem:

Turned it on today and its making a clacking noise, when it started making the noise i was already accessing it and it was fine and working so i thought "ok it might go away" but then a few seconds later i couldn't access it anymore, i don't want to turn it on again unless its breaking more each time...

But i have some important data on the external hard drive to do with my current college course that i could really do without losing...
I bought it on the 4th of Jan and its the 31st today so it is still in warranty, i was wondering if anyone knew a way of me recovering which would cost little or no money at all? also not voiding the warranty

As its still in warranty would freecom be able to recover the data for me or will i need a new external hard drive? by the sounds of it the discs are fine its the machine itself but i don't know much about these kinds of things...

TOO LONG DIDNT READ:

Hard drive is acting up, i need to recover the data please advise

That was cheap. Trolling isn't only about annoying others, like mosquitoes on a very hot night or loud children in McDonalds. You're doing it wrong. Kill yourself and stop posting here until you get a clue on how to write posts without sodomizing the English language.
