FireFox Question?

Is there anyway to get rid of the little red x on the right of each tab? I often find myself accidentally clicking it when I really just want to select the tab not close it. Obviously I have the tabmixplus extension installed so I can just right click and be like undo clse tab but still, that takes valuable seconds and I'm not about wasting time, I'm about epic win. Any help appreciated.

No I don't have that. I'd guess that's probably the cause since it messes with the tabs. Maybe there's another way to do it with the extension installed...
