They react when i insert a cd, but nothing on the computer. tried restart/find new hardware/check IDE connections... they worked fine a day or two ago and no real chances since then. any troubleshooters for this sort of thing? theres two of them and its happening to both. also my daemon tools cd rom emulator shows up fine if that means anything.
i opened the bios and they showed up fine. and the windows disc booted fine. and then when i restarted it they worked fine. ive restarted it quite a few times and it was when i booted a disk in it that they started to work.
