Monitor

Something fucked up is going on with my PC. The monitor randomly goes into power saving mode and the computer freezes almost instantly after that. Everything is connected correctly and I think I have no power issues. I have noticed that anytime I bump into my desk or cause some vibrations on the desk this happens. Alos while playing games or HD videos.

Anyone can point me as to what my problem may be?

Hard drives these days spin at at least 7200 rpm. That's rounds per minute. That is: They spin 120 times in one fucking second. If you have a slow one, that is. The read/write heads "float" a few mere nanometers above the data surface. A nanometer is 1 * 10^-9 meters. That is 1 / 1,000,000,000 meters.

Do you have any fucking clue yet why it might be bad to repeatedly bump into a desk that has a computer with running hard drives on it?
