Is it possible to get a DDR2-533 stick of ram to work on a DDR2-800 motherboard?
The hardware in question is a Gigabyte GA-G31MX-S2 motherboard and a Kingston 1GB DDR2-533 stick of ram.

well, no.  it gets to the POST, says the memory tests fine, and freezes.  DDR2-800 works, though.
