What's some good, free software that can extract images from swf files? I know of three, but some newer Flash files (probably using Flash 9) are stumping them all.
1. SWFRIP. The best, when it works. Flash 8 and up tend to choke it though.
2. Swfextract, part of Swftools. Command-line, with crap file-naming behavior that you have to work around. On newer files it tends to not see all the contents, and/or chokes if you try extracting too many pics at once.
3. SWF Picture Extractor. Dog-slow (like 20-30 minutes of max CPU per file), but sometimes works where the other two fail.
Unfortunately, F.F.Fight Ultimate 2's swf files can't be read by any of them. Swfextract can get a bit out of some of them, but not enough to be useful.
So, anyone know of any better alternatives?
