Why do you do it? For programming needs?
But aren't there a lot of cool things you can't do without Windows?

slow down there zippy, you're moving too fast
Linux is free, open-source, uses less resources than Windows or OS X
The X.Org X11 implementation doesn't use less resources than Quartz or GDI. Most users don't require the distributed processing aspect that X provides.

It's much more stable and reliable too
XP has been pretty stable and reliable for ages too. I would say Linux is equally stable and reliable than any well maintained XP machine.

If I want to play a game or something I can always just run a virtual machine or emulator to use it.
Virtual machines have to go through many layers of cruft before they even get to the virtual operating system. You can't run many interactive 3d games well in a virtual machine.
