Image harvesting with FDM?

Name: Anonymous 2007-09-09 16:28 ID:dYmUXMMS

htt://www.gomorra.com is a nice site with lots of pictures from newsgroups. But downloading them by hand is a tedious process that invites to lots of mistakes.

So I thought that I knew how to download them en masse:

1) Choose a group.
http://www.gomorra.com/amateurs

2) Choose a subgroup.
http://www.gomorra.com/alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.sensualamateurs/8632-34-0.html

3) Mark all thumbnails (30 of them), copy and paste into Notes. The first thumbnail will produce this result:
alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.sensualamateurs-alex_1084.jpg

4) But the large picturee is at another adress, so the text will be converted into this with Open Office:
http://www.gomorra.com/org_size/alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.sensualamateurs/alex_1084.jpg

5) Then import the text file with all the pictures to FDM and start downloading.

But instead the FDM started to download lots and lots of "404(n).htm" Why doesn't it work? I've tried FDMs HTML-spider, but it takes ages and ages for nothing.

I also use XP and Firefox, if thats of any help.

So please, comupter geek squad. Help me pimp my downloads!
