Data Encryption

What do you guys use to encrypt/hide questionable files on your computer? I've got some crap I wouldn't like people on my house to find.

Also, what about covering internet tracks? How does one hide their activity from prying eyes? And I'm not talking about clearing history/cookies, I mean from people watching from the outside.

Truecrypt with hidden volumes. Plausible deniability ftw.
