PC IR Remote

Hi,

I have IR ports built into both of my notebook computers.  Does anyone know of a way to control media through use of these ports and any sort of remote (Universal or PC-specific)?

All I can find are remotes that come with a USB IR connection, which I don't need or want.

Find out what frequency it uses and buy a telly remote with that frequency. then you will only have to find out which buttons do what, and press these buttons for the desired effect.
