So, I'm getting a mac.

Basically I'm upgrading my computer for various reasons, the biggest being I currently detest Vista and Microsoft's policies.

However, some things have come to mind and now I am worried what will happen to all my old programs (like classic games, etc.). Will I be forced to use them in Windows bootable, or is there an emulator for windows .exe files?

I'm pretty new to the whole Mac thing, so be kind.
