GENERIC QUESTION

I have a PC device that won't work.  I do not have the electronics knowledge to fix it, and it is not economically sound to pay someone else to fix it.  While the device isn't that expensive, and in the time that I'm writing this, if I was working and not a 32-year-old virgin living at home with his mom in the basement having sexual fantasies about her, I'd have enough money to purchase another one of these devices now, still, I was wondering if it is possible to get this device working somehow.

That device generally sounds like the kind of equipment that clogs up with dust attracted by static electricity.  These devices can be cleaned of such internal clogging by a cycle in a dishwasher.  The action of the heat, soap and gyrations of the water streams are just what's needed to effect the cleaning.

Yeah I tried that with my hard drive coz it wasnt working, but it still doesnt seem to be working yet. I think I'm going to give it another wash and this time use some heavy duty cleaners and put some degreaser in to loosen up all the dust.
