Port Forwarding

Anybody know how to set up port forwarding?

I'm running a tomcat server on 10.1.1.3:8080

So I have this virtual server rule to put traffic to my router on port 8080 (10.1.1.1) through to 10.1.1.3 on port 8080.

"
LAN IP: 10.1.1.3
Protocol TCP,UDP
Port Start: 8080
Port End: 8080
Port Map: 8080
Port Map End: 8080
"

So theoretically if I call my router address on port 8080, it should redirect back to my desktop i.e. 10.1.1.1:8080 -> 10.1.1.3:8080

I also have an inbound filter
"
Category: Inbound
Source IP: Any IP:8080
Destination IP: 10.1.1.3:8080
Prot. Both
Act. Allow
Enable (ticked)
"
For the curious, I'm running a DSL-G604T.

Yes, I realise how dumb I must be for not working it out etc.

Is anyone out there able to halp?
