Network Help

My friend has new alienware, and he downgraded from vista to XP, then he did a system restore. Now his network settings are messed up. How does he fix this?

TCP/IP settings for home networks are fairly simple.  Get onto another machine (like you're doing now) and google.  Calling you ISP's help line might be good, too.

I suggest you sell the alienware on Ebay for $50, then buy a new ethernet adapter.
