i was wonder, what kind of performance gain do you get with a cache of 2mb compared to 4mb

i have the E6300 and am slowly building a pc again.. but i dunno to buy a better core 2 duo processor or just overclock what i already have and get a half decent cooler

is the extra 2mbs of cache in better core 2s worth it?

help please

PROTIP: More CPU cache *contributes* to an increase in overall computer speed.

This is because the more l2 cache in the cpu, the more data it can store and so, the computer doesn't waste as much time retrieving data from RAM.
