I'm going to be building a PC relatively soon, and I've got a $1,000 budget. I'm curious as to what anon's opinion is on what components I should get.
I nearly everything- monitor, speakers, keyboard, case, etc. I've only got a grand now, but my birthday's coming up, as well as christmas, so there's some extra money that can be spent later on something like a better graphics card.
I have no real preference right now between AMD and Intel, but I tend to favor Nvidia over ATI. However, I'm still wide open to an ATI card/mobo set up.
