Scrambled text on startup

Name: Anonymous 2007-06-23 16:24 ID:vuWgQbF3

One day I came home to my computer making a faint buzzing sound and when I turned on the monitor saw that the picture was all scrambled, after restarting my monitor didnt display any picture at all and I didnt hear the 'beep' of my HD starting up, and as if that was bad enough my power supply blew out. So after replacing the power supply I tried starting up my computer again with the same problem, so I let my computer sit for a week, not really having the time to work on it, and when I went to start it up again I heard the 'beep' and my computer began to display the normal text I would see (Memory Test, CPU speed, IDEs) but only after a few seconds of display this my screen turned into the scrambled text I had seen before and that buzzing sound came back. This isnt any problem I have ever seen before and I cant tell where the buzzing might be coming from, so I am at a loss as to what I could try to do, if anyone knows what I could try to do or where I could go to find an answer I would appreciate it muchly, thanks.
